Defied Expectations,
Let me get this out of the way, I’m an amateur paintball player.
With that said, this marker clearly surpassed any expectations I had when I purchased it. Having played Woodsball just once prior to buying the Gryphon(I used a 98 Custom borrowed from a friend), I had the taste for entering the world of paintball without wanting to pay the prices for the more traditionally available markers. With some research and word of mouth, I learned about Tippmann’s newest line of markers aimed at the novice player on a budget. Ordered this beauty, and within 2 days it was on my doorstep(huge props to Amazon Prime getting here on time)! Now about the marker…
This bundle came with everything listed and shown. The marker itself is very lightweight and easy to handle, even with a full hopper and 20oz of CO2 attached. It has a very solid, clean design and with the gasline being internal makes it even more appealing to look at and handle. With the stock barrel, it shoots relatively great and accurate at about 5-6 balls per second. Note: you CAN use Tippmann A-5 barrels on the Gryphon as an optional upgrade. The mask included will do you fine as a starter, but may give you some slight fogging troubles in rough climate conditions/drawn out games.
For those looking for a cheap all-in-one entry into the world of paintball, you simply can’t go wrong with this package deal! I might just pick up another Gryphon as a stand alone marker because of how great they operate.

|Fantastic Starter Marker,
Bought this marker for my wife. The price made it easy, the Tippmann name made it a no brainer. This package is more than enough for the beginner to get into paintball without spending a whole lot of cash.
